This right here is what has infested West and Central Africa and kept it in its current state of poverty. This advert was placed in a Nigerian daily newspaper, ThisDay. Unless this ‘Gala Night’ is being held to aid some charitable causes through the ticket prices, then will I say this is justified. Otherwise I’ll assume that these people are mental. A tacky invitation on worthless paper parading their moronic and unashamed greedy faces while their very next neighbour cannot afford 3 meals a day. Ridiculous!

Nollywood!! Man dies while trying to steal valuables from grave

September 22nd, 2011 § 230 comments § permalink

Yep! That is the position in which a grave robber was caught dead on sunday. The unidentified man presumed to be in his thirties is thought to have died while trying to rob a corpse which had been buried earlier that day.

It appears the loose earth collapsed and trapped him as he dug deeper to gain access to the body. Onlookers suggests that the man must have tried to escape given the nature of his head injuries.

People are still trying to find out how the man knew the corpse was buried with valuables or if he was related to the corpse.

I wonder if after he died he met the spirit of the man whose corpse he was trying to rob… What an interesting conversation that would be.

I have so much respect for Nigerians. Irrespective of all the negativity that is thrown their way as a result of the actions of a few, the country is moving forward. I visited Lagos in March and I must commend Nigerians for their patriotism. Cameroonians need to wake up and come together as one for  our nation’s future.

A couple of nights ago, I stumbled across the Nigerian Presidential Debate on SilverBird Television, Lagos and to my horror and fascination, I saw the current president Goodluck Johnathan having a debate by himself. Now correct me if I am wrong but isn’t a debate supposed to be between two or more people? How could Goodluck debate against himself?

I often constructively criticise young Cameroonians MCs and Rappers for copying Nigerians and lacking ORIGINALITY. Here’s the difference, in the clip above, the Nigerians actually copied the Americans but kept their Nigerian signature on the song – making it original. However most of our rappers when you listen to their songs, you couldn’t tell where they are from or most times, they sound so Nigerian it is frustrating. All I am saying is DO YOU, be ORIGINAL and put our country on the rap map!
